Lapu-Lapu Day Festival Fundraiser

As many of us, I am heartbroken by the tragedy that happened at the Lapu Lapu Day festival here in Vancouver on April 26th. While there doesn't seem to be anything significant enough to ease the heart ache people are feeling, I knew I needed to do something. I wanted to donate to a fund that would help as many as possible and yet how do you choose?

I have decied to split any money raised between 2 Go Fund Me Fundraisers :

- Chef TJ Conwi is providing meals to the Filipino Community so that they can focus on healing and supporting their loved ones. Being able to have meals taken care of when you are trying to navigate such loss is immense.

- Support for Helgi & Thor Bjarnason, their mother Maria came to Vancouver from the Philippines to visit her sons. It unthinkable to me as a mother that she would come to our beautiful city to visit her two boys and be taken from them in such a way.

All Proceeds from this sale will be split evenly between both fundraisers.
